When it comes to burn more calories, most people want to get as much mileage out of their exercise as possible. The more calories they burn, the better they feel about their workouts. This chart correspond to how many calories individuals of various weights burn per minute during different activities.

How many calories are burned Boxing

 

For every 60 seconds punching the bag, you will burn 2 Calories for every 50 lbs of weight. So a 210lbs man boxing for 10 minutes will burn ( ~80 Calories). Boxing is a variant type of exercise, the harder you fit the bag and the frequency of your punches will determine your calories burn rate. A 140 pound person can burn a whopping 800 calories per hour boxing.  Now that’s a great workout!

National Academy of Sports Medicine: If you are hitting the heavy bag, expect to burn around 200 calories every 30 minutes. Want to step it up? Get in the ring and spar with a real person, and you will burn close to 410 calories in 30 minutes.
